Another returning customer, another standout transformation—this time with a VW Caddy CarPlay retrofit and a stylish seating upgrade that ties the whole interior together. This VW Caddy Mk4 came in for a factory-fitted VW Discovery navigation system with CarPlay and integrated maps, along with a set of Golf Mk7 GTI front seats to match the red-stitched steering wheel we previously supplied.

What We Installed

This wasn’t just a quick swap-and-code. The customer supplied a genuine VW Discovery head unit, which we installed and fully configured to include CarPlay and built-in navigation. This unit is a massive upgrade over the original setup, offering a slick interface and modern smartphone integration that’s perfect for daily use or long trips.

To complement the upgraded steering wheel we fitted previously, the customer also brought in a pair of Golf Mk7 GTI front seats. These weren’t a direct bolt-in, so we had to make clever adjustments to the mounting points and wiring to ensure everything lined up perfectly. Once installed, we connected all sensors, including occupancy and airbag modules, and completed full coding to make sure the vehicle recognised the new components without any errors.
